Associates

We train our associates at all levels of experience in written and oral advocacy, including cross-examination. We find appropriate opportunities for associates working on a case to engage in oral pleading at hearings. Volterra Fietta junior associates are likely to have more oral advocacy experience than senior associates at other leading international dispute resolution practices.

Our associates are given a high degree of responsibility on cases. Volterra Fietta associates at all levels regularly meet and interact with clients, witnesses, experts, opposing counsel and tribunals. Given the international nature of our work, our associates have opportunities for international travel. Internships

Volterra Fietta operates a popular internship programme. A number of our associate team participated in our internship programme before taking up their associate roles. Other interns have gone on to pursue careers at the UN, the WTO, the EC, their home country’s foreign ministry, and international courts and tribunals.
