Trinity Law School is one of five law schools in the United States that teach law from a Christian perspective. It is the only one of the five schools that is a California Bar Examiners approved law school. It was founded in 1980 as Simon Greenleaf School of Law. It was originally named in honor of the Nineteenth century Harvard law professor Simon Greenleaf, who wrote The Testimony of the Evangelists.
The Simon Greenleaf School of Law was started by John Warwick Montgomery, an attorney/educator and Walter Martin, a Christian apologist. The school offered both the J.D. and M.A. degrees. In 1997, Simon Greenleaf University merged with Trinity International Univeristy [1] in Deerfield, Illinois. The school remained in California, but was renamed the Trinity Law School.
The school's website [2] describes it as follows, "Trinity Law School is a Christian law school. We are committed to the belief that Christianity should affect every aspect of life and business. This inc

The Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) is conferred upon law students who pass a three-year J.D. program. In the United States, the degree usually requires at least three years of full-time coursework, and some schools offer part-time evening programs to accommodate working professionals.
The common coursework includes family law, criminal law, tax law, constitutional law, contract law, torts, civil procedure, and business law. Most schools offer a focused "track" program allowing law students to selectively focus on a particular field of law. These elective courses may be taken only after the mandatory coursework is completed. Typically, this is accomplished during the third year of law school. Most schools have legal clinics that offer focused instructional training combined with some real-word applications.
To obtain a law degree or J.D. you must have received a four-year undergraduate degree, and pre-law classes are not required. Most states require that practicing attor

Russian oligarchs' taste for British justice helped London lawyers rake in a record-breaking 5bn of profits last year.
When the lawyers have totted up all the hours spent on the four-month long High Court battle it is expected to rank among the most expensive cases to have been fought in London courts. And Abramovich vs Berezovsky is just one of a slew of oligarch battles making their way through London's legal system, and turning the lawyers involved into multi-millionaires.
Mark McAteer, national editor of Legal Business magazine, said the Russian legal battles have helped push the profits at top 100 law firms in the Capital to more than 5bn for the first time ever.
Litigation for Russian clients has been a massive source of revenue for a number of firms – both big firms and boutique firms, he said.
McAteer said Russians prefer to have their cases heard in the UK because they approve of the system of usually having a fair playing field and we have

Asked by mirifique ( 1511 ) May 26th,
The conventional wisdom 2 3 years ago (e.g. the Wall Street Journal law blog, various blogs, advice from law students, etc.) appeared to be that if you went a to third tier law school, you d need to dramatically lower your expectations in terms of starting salary (i.e. get comfortable with $(40 )50 60k instead of $90 100k) and job prospects (i.e. rely more on networking through clerkships than on-campus recruiters; take temporary contract review jobs for a while). A year ago, as BigLaw firms started to lay off thousands of associates, conventional wisdom seemed to hold that if you have any other career prospects, you should look to those before turning to law school. This question aims to gather conventional wisdom and speculation from law applicants, students, and graduates alike, specifically as such wisdom and speculation pertains to the general (acknowledging that one s prospects will vary according to grad

Resources for researching Federal and state whistleblower laws are listed below.
Whistleblower laws make it illegal for employers to retaliate in any way against employees who:
- Report employers' violations of whistleblower laws to the proper authorities
- Refuse to engage in activities made unlawful by whistleblower laws
- Participate in legal proceedings under whistleblower laws
Retaliation provisions typically include protection from discharge and harassment, and allow victims to file lawsuits for damages. See an attorney about suing for either.
Not every law with employer retaliation protection provisions has the word whistleblower in its title. Many have such provisions regardless of their titles.
An example is the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX). a landmark whistleblower law that provides unprecedented protections for corporate whistleblowers.
Collectively, the laws with such provisions are

In seiner Schrift „Zum ewigen Frieden.
