Great show with great actors!

Who can forget Rosalind (Diana Muldaur) taking over the firm and then loosing her power, just to show up again to take Leland to bed (this scene was ranked as the 38th greatest moment in television in an issue of EGG Magazine).

I can't believe I actually enjoyed this! It's like one of life's guilty pleasures.

A standout drama.

L.A.Law was a standout drama from '86-'94. At the end, as many drama's have happen, it became somewhat stale and may cause many to forget the gripping storylines Bochco, Kelley etc. created. The acting was superlative from the mainstays Dysart, Rachins, Tucker, Eikenberry, Ruttan, Bernsen, Hamlin etc. As the show expanded Law brought forth additional characters played by Dey, Smits, Greene, Underwood, Donohoe, Spencer, Drake, Muldaur etc. These actors made their roles and characters as unforgettable as the originals made there's.

Back in February 1987, ITV started to screen the first series of a new US legal drama LA LAW. Screening at 9pm every Thursday through until July, LA LAW quickly became a ratings hit. Previous courtroom drama on ITV had been provided by John Mortimer's Rumpole of the Bailey. LA LAW was something different.

From 1960 to 1970, private pension coverage increased from 21.2 million employees to approximately 30 million workers. During this same period, assets of these private plans increased from $52 billion to $138 billion. And they are now increasing at a rate of $12-15 billion a year. In the most recent Research Assessment Exercise carried out by the UK Higher Education Funding Councils it was one of only eight such departments to be given a top rating of 5* (meaning the Department s research was ranked as being of international excellence ) and a score of five out of five in the similar evaluation of teaching.
