#Online MBA

Looking for a high-quality MBA but perhaps other commitments are preventing you from studying full-time or being on-campus? The University of Otago is now offering its MBA online we are bringing the classroom to you.

Quality MBA programme

The only differences between our online and on-campus programmes are the delivery mechanism and timeframe. You will study exactly the same curriculum as the on-campus students, submit the same assignments and sit similar examinations. Entry requirements are the same for all our MBA programmes.

The online programme is designed to be part-time and will take two-and-a-half years to complete instead of the on-campus 15 months.

Structure of the Otago Online MBA

The curriculum comprises 2 phases:

• In Phase 1. students take 12 core papers over 2 years. Lectures and examinations for each subject take place over 7 weeks, with a week break between subjects.
• Phase 2 is a business project which involves 600 hours of work. Alternately, online electives will be available.

What you need to attend the class

To participate in the online classes, you will need the following:

• Access to broadband Internet
• A computer
• Good headphone and microphone set
• Somewhere you can set yourself up comfortably

Fees

Fees for the entire online programme can be paid in 4 instalments, that is 1 payment for every 4 papers or 60 points. Click here for online fees.

Graduation Options

Graduating with an Otago MBA opens the door to a wide range of career options around the world. However, if your circumstances change and you decide to exit the programme mid-way, you can opt to graduate with the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDipBusAdmin) after completing 8 subjects.
