21st ANNUAL WAML CONGRESS - COIMBRA, PORTUGAL

The Congress will take place at Hotel Vila Gale and will commence with a Welcome Reception Sunday evening August 2, 2015. The Welcome Reception is the perfect venue to meet with colleagues. We encourage everyone to attend. The Opening Ceremony will be the morning of Monday, August 3, 2015. The Congress will conclude Thursday, August 6, 2015 followed by a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony.

The program will consist of four topics:

Information Technology and Health Law

Migrations Health Law

Full Registration Package Include:

• Admission to the Scientific and Poster Sessions

• Admission to the Sunday Evening Welcome Reception

• Admission to the Civic Reception (Sponsored by Coimbra Mayor at City Hall)

• Admission to the Thursday evening Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony

• Admission to all coffee breaks

*NOTE: One-Day Registration Fees includes access to the Scientific Program Sessions, Exhibits, Posters and Coffee Breaks ONLY. If you are planning to attend a daily session please complete the registration form and email to worldassocmedlaw@gmail.com.

Additional tickets can be purchased a la carte for the Welcoming Reception and Gala Dinner/Awards Ceremony for attendees choosing a daily registration fee or for additional guests who will not be purchasing a full registration package.

If you are registering for the Islamic Bioethics Session, this is a two day program. The program will take place the last two days (August 5 and 6) and you will have access to all sessions on August 5 and 6. Registration will include the Gala Dinner / Awards Ceremony and Coffee Breaks.

The World Association for Medical Law has selected the HOTEL VILA GALÉ for your stay during the 21st Annual World Congress, Coimbra, Portugal. The WAML has contracted a discounted group rate for all WAML attendees to include a Buffet Breakfast served in the Restaurant and complimentary wi-fi which are wonderful amenities to help you throughout your stay.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you choose to stay at another hotel the WAML will have to charge an entry fee of $75 on top of your registration.

University Tour – A Coimbra University Walking tour has been planned for Monday August 3, 2015 from 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM. You will be accompanied by a professional guide and attendees will be divided into groups of 40. Pre-Registration is required and you will be required to pay 7€ directly to your tour guide on August 3, 2015. Registration deadline is July 28th and you must reserve your spot by emailing cdb@fd.uc.pt.
