This is Mikayla. thank you sooooo much everyone who is helping us go to camp this year. I m going to pray for you and offer Masses for you and your families at camp. I m so happy and I can t believe it. You are very generous. thanks again. o) :o) :o)

Hi friends,

My name is Mikayla and I am 10. I have two sisters and two brothers.

My sister Maddie is 11, and my cousin Julia is almost 11. Last year Maddie and Julia got to go to camp for girls for a whole week at Pathfinder Ranch in Mountain Center, California.

They loved it. They learned about God and taking care of his animals.  They sang songs, went swimming and canoeing, archery, climbing, and a ton of other fun things for girls.

The picture is from when we picked up my sister and cousin after camp.  Maddie is wearing pink, Julia is wearing light blue, and I am wearing the blue shirt. We got to pet the horses, hold chickens and turkeys, and pet the goats and pigs.

I couldn't go last year because I was too young.

And now none of us can go to camp this year because my dad says we just don't have enough money.  He works with his brother, who is my cousin Julia's dad, and their business is too slow.

I'm so sad. I have been looking forward to camp all year long and it will soon be time to register, but we can't.

I wanted to work on Saturdays holding a pointer sign for a yogurt shop, but my dad laughed and told me I'm too young.

I really want to go to camp. And so does my sister and cousin. My dad heard of this website and helped me set it up.

Camp for a week costs about $1,300 total for three kids ($445 each). We sold mistletoes door-to-door at Christmas time and saved up $180. Our Nana is giving us $100. But that's still not enough.

We still need about $980. Please help us. o)
