#Law Firm Search Engine - Law Web 50: Top Fifty Law Firm Websites UPDATE (February 18, 2015): For current rankings, please visit Law Web 40 on Law Firm Search Engine. UPDATE (July 5, 2013): CanadaVisa.com. the website of Canadian immigration firm Campbell Cohen, receives more web traffic than any other law firm website (based on its high Alexa Traffic Rank ). Campbell Cohen has informed us that CanadaVisa.com received over 1.5 million visits during a recent thirty-day period. According to Campbell Cohen, the firm employs 13 lawyers. We recently added CanadaVisa.com to our search engine, making it eligible for inclusion in the Law Web 50. According to our methodology (below), Murthy.com remains the most popular website of any law firm based in the United States. At Law Firm Search Engine Dot Com, we recognize that law firm websites are important. That is why we have put together the Law Web 50, a league table of the fifty most popular law firm websites in the world. Law Web 50 is a list of law firm websites ranked in order by Alexa Traffic Rank. Sites at the top of the list receive more global web traffic than other law firm websites. To our knowledge, the Law Web 50 list is the first of its kind. As of February 2013, the Murthy Law Firm, a small immigration firm based in Owings Mills, MD, topped the Law Web 50. According to our methodology at the time, Murthy.com received more web traffic than any other law firm website. We reached out to Murthy for comment and Sheela Murthy, President & Founder, provided the following remarks: We have an awesome tech team that cares deeply about excelling and working hand in glove with our mission of helping clients. We believe that our website is merely a vehicle/instrument for us to provide info and help our clients and the immigrant community gain valuable, accurate and cutting-edge information that is reliable. In fact, the U.S. government, the USCIS (as the main agency involved in providing benefits) uses Murthy.com to train their examiners and officers to understand the business or family perspectives by going to our website. We have been told this by USCIS examiners across the U.S. We are glad that we have gained that type of credibility and reputation with millions of people who have been our loyal fans for years. As expected, "biglaw" dominates Law Web 50 with global firms Pillsbury Winthrop, DLA Piper, Baker & McKenzie, and Norton Rose rounding out the top five. All of the firms on our list happen to have at least one office in the US or in the UK. Quality Solicitors is on our list even though it is technically not a law firm itself. It is a group of UK law firms that operate with a common brand (and website). It has an interesting structure that takes advantage of UK laws that allow non-lawyer ownership of law firms. Australia is another jurisdiction that allows non-lawyers to own stakes in law firms. Slater & Gordon, a firm that has its shares listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, is on our list. Some boutique firms have made our list, including intellectual property firms Fish & Richardson and Finnegan. Personal injury firm Weitz & Luxenberg is on our list as well as small business advisor Spiegel & Utrera. We wish a happy new year to the Chinese law firms that have made our list, the Yingke Law Firm and King & Wood Mallesons. Welcome, Year of the Snake! Law Web 50 (February 2013)
