About SLS

Student Legal Services (SLS) is a program of ASUN and is funded completely by student fees.

SLS offers free legal advice or representation to registered UNL students.

UNL Student Legal Services (SLS) is located on the downtown campus in room 335 of the Student Union.

If you would like to make an appointment, you may call our office at 402 472 3350 or request an appointment to the right of your screen.

All of your conversations with SLS attorneys are confidential and not part of any UNL record. SLS attorneys do NOT talk with your parents, professors, coaches, or anyone else without your express permission.

Our goal is to provide UNL students easy access to legal information, advice or representation in certain areas of the law. SLS operates under a set of guidelines tailored to the needs of students.
