The Rutgers Mini MBA Program now offers an accelerated Social Media Marketing Course. The Social Media course will be held on Rutger s Piscataway campus.

The top ten jobs that are in demand in did not exist in 2004. Social media companies were founded only during the last few years. For example, Facebook was created in 2004, YouTube in 2005, and Twitter in 2006. So, if you took a marketing course in college before 2004, chances are your marketing or advertising courses did not cover social media.

A paradigm shift in marketing today stems from technology advancements that are producing a new class of super-informed, highly empowered consumers, says Eric Greenberg, the Faculty Chair of the Rutgers Mini-MBA: Social Media Program at the Center for Management Development (CMD).  As products like tablet computers increasingly shift people away from traditional media and untether them from their office and home PCs, marketing professionals at ... Business law falls into two distinctive areas: (1) the regulation of commercial entities by the laws of company, partnership. agency. and bankruptcy and (2) the regulation of commercial transactions by the laws of contract and related fields.

Scientific laws are repeatedly observed phenomena in nature that appear to be nearly universally true. Often times laws will be developed from and described by mathematical models of the phenomena in question. Laws are different from theories in that they are not designed to provide a causal framework in which to describe why a series of observations reliably occur but are rather merely descriptions of the observed phenomenon. Creationists often like to refer to scientific laws as the unimpeachable authority of science and often try and use such things as the Second Law of Thermodynamics to argue against evolution. This is, of course, a logical fallacy that relies on equivocation .

A posteriori laws are capable of being precisely mathematically analysed and described. They also permit the prediction of future events by extrapolation from past events or present circumstances.

Cyber law refers to the law that governs the use of communication technology, mainly the Internet. It is a mix of all laws concerning intellectual property, freedom of expression, privacy and jurisdiction. When it comes to the Internet, the lack of clarity with regard to geographical boundaries and jurisdictions can pose a problem. For example. in just a single deal three different states/jurisdictions could be involved

(a)  The laws of the state or country which the user belongs to

(b)  The laws of the state or country applicable to the individual or organization with whom the deal has been struck

(c)  The laws of the state or country where the host server is located.

In other words, a single transaction could be subject to the laws of three countries at a time. The jurisdiction in one particular country may consider the contents of a website legal whereas the same contents may be declared illegal by the jurisdiction of another geographical area or ... (redirected from Inheritance Laws )

The holdings and resources owned in common by a Husband and Wife .

Community Property Law concerns the distribution of property acquired by a couple during marriage in the event of the end of the marriage, whether by Divorce or death of one of the parties. In community property states all property accumulated by a husband and wife during their marriage becomes joint property even if it was originally acquired in the name of only one partner. The states that utilize a community property method of dividing resources were influenced by the Civil Law system of France, Spain, and Mexico.

Laws vary among the states that recognize community property; however, the basic idea is that a husband and wife each acquire a one-half interest in what is labeled community property. A determining factor in the classification of a particular asset as community property is the time of acquisition. Community property is ordinarily ... Read more »

Sports Law encompasses a multitude areas of law brought together in unique ways. Issues such as antitrust, contracts, and torts are quite common. For further information in these areas see:

Sports Law can be roughly divided into the areas of amateur, professional, and international sports. The distinction between a professional and amateur athlete is somewhat tenuous. So-called "amateur" student/athletes at universities often receive scholarships and other forms of compensation. Also, keep in mind that even though an athlete may be defined as an amateur by one organization, he or she may not be an amateur according to another. Of course, this leads to even more confusion. A simplistic, yet useful definition is that amateur athletes participate in sports as an avocation while professional athletes are involved in sports as a vocation.

The executive MBA differs from a traditional MBA in that it is geared for business professionals who already have several years of management experience. Therefore, the courses do not include the foundational business administration framework found in a standard MBA program. Instead, classes focus on processes, improved management strategies and direct application in the workplace.

An online Executive MBA is a rigorous graduate program that typically takes two years of study to complete. Because the program is geared toward full-time mid-level managers looking to move up the corporate ladder, few students complete the program faster, as many are enrolled part time and don t have room in their busy schedules for accelerated studies. The online Executive MBA provides students with a thorough business administration education in all major areas, such as accounting, finance, marketing, management, statistics, business law and ethics. However, instruction in these courses is tail ... Read more »

Among the many legal issues presented by the Internet, privacy is a leading problem. In fact, Internet privacy covers a broad range of concerns: fears about the safety of children in chat rooms and on the World Wide Web, the privacy of e-mail, the vulnerability of web users to having their Internet use habits tracked, the collection and use of personal information, the freedom of people to chat and post messages anonymously. Moreover, the rapid evolution of the Internet has frequently brought such privacy concerns before lawmakers and the courts.

Privacy concerns are frequently newsworthy. During the 1990s, child safety advocates highlighted special online dangers for children following high-profile abuse cases. Internet commerce has also been affected, too. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) report noted in 2000 in its annual report to Congress that survey data demonstrated 92% of consumers are concerned about the misuse of personal information online.
