Abacus Law questions - Lawyerist Lab

Used a much older version of Abacus Law and it was straightforward and decent. But this was back in the Windows 95 and Windows 98 days. Appointment book looked like a real book, contacts looked like real rolodex cards, that sort of thing.

Then, I switched the office to PCLaw which had more features and more in depth accounting we needed. Their tech support was good but the software was not perfect (tech support needed to repair corrupted data a few times, etc. ? not cool),

Then, switched to custom software web-based on our own server. But, that is a headache too to add functions and fix things over time. We re lawyers not programmers!

Now, PCLaw is part of the evil empire (Lexis Nexis) ? just a joke BTW ? so not sure how much it is now. I see they also have Juris too. PCLaw may be even better than before under Lexis Nexis s wings.

Anyways, that is why I was interested in Houdini Esq ? advertised to have lots of great features despite goofy name, logo, website, etc. Still never received a ?license? key to use their free version. So, seems more like not available at any price so far. Still waiting
