The Academy on Human Rights and Humanitarian Law will host the 20th Annual Inter-American Moot Court Competition May 17-22, co-sponsored by the Inter-American Court on Human Rights. More than 100 teams will participate from 27 countries, involving more than 300 students, professors, and human rights professionals. MORE Executive Director of the Homeless Persons Representation Project (HPRP) and alumna, Antonia Fasanelli, joined with Robert Goodis, a 3L PIPS Scholar, to assist homeless individuals with the expungement process. Through Fasanelli's guidance, Goodis was recently recognized by HPRP for his accomplishments with the organization. MORE AUWCL recently approved a new addition to its International JD Dual Degree Programs. In addition to Australia, Canada, France, and Spain, AUWCL students can now earn a law degree in Italy (Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza) through its partnership with Libera Universit Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli (LUISS), a private university located in Rome.
