#DOL: Online Work Permit System DOL Child Labor Online Work Permit System Online Work Permit SystemUpdated April 7, 2015Thank you for your patience. The Online Work Permit System is now available. The Online Work Permit System is the tool used by accredited schools to issue work permits for minors in the State of Indiana. Work permits may only be obtained through accredited schools and cannot be issued by employers, city offices or homeschooling parents. If a minor attends a non-accredited school and is trying to obtain a work permit, he/she should follow the guidelines found in our Frequently Asked Questions online at http://www.in.gov/dol/2398.htm . The Indiana Department of Labor receives multiple requests each day for school users who have forgotten or misplaced their login information for the Online Work Permit System. To better assist our customers, we have established an Online Work Permit System Login Request page available online at http://www.in.gov/dol/2844.htm. This online form is only available to accredited school users and will require your school's four-digit school code issued by the Indiana Department of Education. If you are a new user to the Online Work Permit System, you may wish to view our online tutorial videos that will better explain each step in the Work Permit process. These videos may be found on our Forms and Publications page. Please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page for additional information. If you have more specific questions about the Online Work Permit System, please e-mail the Bureau of Child Labor at childlabor@dol.in.gov or call (317) 232-2655.
