Coursewebs and Transition to CourseWorks for the Spring 2015 Semester

Starting with the Spring 2015 semester - all Law School course content will be posted on the CourseWorks system rather than the Law School courseweb system that has been in use for several years. More information about how to use the CourseWorks stystem is available below. All Law School CourseWorks sites are set up with six basic functions (known as tools ). These are: Announcements. Files and Resources. Mailtool. Echo 360. Lawnet Portal. Textbooks and Site Settings. Instructions on how to use each of these functions is included in the chart below below. By using the Site Settings tool - several other functions can be selected and then included in the site. See the section on Training and Support Resources for more assistance in using the basic tools or any of the other available tools.

Materials posted on the Law School courseweb system in previous semesters have been imported into the CourseWorks system. More information about how to import materials from previous semesters and upload mutilple files is included below .

Students will have access to materials when registration for the Fall 2015 semester is released - at some point duing August. The Law School Registrar will let faculty know when the student registration is in the system.

Please note that the Law School LawNet services for registration (class lists and seating charts), grades, and course evaluations is still being used for these functions. The LawNet service uses the Law School specific login - rather than the UNI.
