Requirements for Stetson Law School | eHow

Every student applying to the Stetson University College of Law has to take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). Stetson's class entering in had a median LSAT score of 156 out of a possible 180. Applicants must have the Law School Admissions Council, or LSAC, submit the scores; they cannot submit their LSAT scores themselves. For applicants who took the test more than once, Stetson uses the highest overall score, not an average of the scores, when reviewing applications.

In order to assess each applicant's past academic performance, Stetson University College of Law asks applicants to submit two letters of recommendation. Though the school prefers academic references, such as those from past professors, students can submit references from anyone. In addition, Stetson also will consider two evaluations as well. Applicants must submit both their letters of recommendation and evaluations through the LSAC.

Applicants also must complete an application for admission electronically and submit a $55 application fee (as of November ), which they can pay online through the LSAC. The school encourages applicants to submit a copy of their resume, as well.
