On the Vermont Law School campus, you’ll be immersed in a diverse community of risk-takers and advocates who learn and work together, inspire each other, and often become colleagues and friends for life.

You’ll learn environmental law concepts and energy policy in buildings recognized for both historic preservation and environmental responsibility. You’ll hike on conserved land and fish in protected water. You’ll debate human rights in a place that’s devoted to diversity and equality. You’ll participate in sustainable agriculture by consuming locally grown and produced food and meeting organic entrepreneurs.

Vermont Law School is also a home for students whose interests lie beyond the environment, who seek to make change in a variety of organizations government agencies, nonprofits, businesses, and NGOs. Our graduates are change agents who go into public and nonprofit careers at nearly twice the national law school average. Designed to leverage Vermont Law's community and setting, Juris Doctor. Master's Degree. and Master of Law s campus programs are both rigorous and practical. Scholarship and academics are in service to the work, values, and ethics that lawyers practice in the field. At Vermont Law School, students concentrate on areas of particular interest and, through experiential learning opportunities, tackle real-world issues and cases to build a personal portfolio.
