Career Services

The Office of Career Services is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00 p.m.

We observe the calendar of the University of Chicago and are closed on school holidays. Occasionally, our hours vary to accommodate special programs (such as Fall On-Campus Interviewing), other Law School events (such as Works in Progress Luncheons), and staff in-service days.

Any variation in hours will be posted on the door of the office and in the OCS Bulletin .

Symplicity for Students

The Office of Career Services relies heavily on the Internet to communicate and interact with its students and graduates. A good portion of our Web services are delivered securely and confidentially via https://law-uchicago-csm.symplicity.com/students/. a Web developer that has creatively adapted its e-Business Platform for the needs of our law students, graduates, and legal employers. Through Symplicity, students can participate in on-campus recruiting programs, search job postings, research employers, and network with fellow students and alumni. Employers, at no cost, can register for our recruiting programs, post jobs and maintain an information profile that can enlighten student career decisions. Judicial Clerkships

A judicial clerkship offers a unique and challenging post-graduate opportunity to develop a relationship with a judge, to observe lawyers "in action", and to reflect on many of the novel legal issues of our time.
