10:59 AM Classes and Videos Online :: Law Media Center :: W L Law School | ||||
Lawmedia in the Law School has recorded classes since 1976. The class recording policy remains the same. Professors have either given permission to have their classes recorded, or they require students to seek permission for each class recorded. If permission is required, you must make the request to the professor and be certain to have that professor inform us by phone 540-458-5870 or email Lawmedia@wlu.edu to record the class for you. If you copy lawmedia on the request, we'll record the class but hold the release of it subject to approval unless the professor has instructed us not to do that. When you make a class recording request, you'll need to be specific - what, when, where. If you are making a request on behalf of an event, we need to know if you want the recording restricted to a certain person or group. Note - you must login once prior to us being able to record a video specifically for you. That is, the system won't know your username until you do. So logistically, the very first time you request a recording (and only that first time) it will be more efficient for you to login to the portal (you can then logout, you don't have to stay logged in) - then make the recording request.
