1. Kiki a lorry driver, travels a lot and is always on the move to earn extra income for his family. He has previously been providing sufficient allowance for his wife. However, he has since left his wife and children for 5 month being away at work without providing sufficient allowance for his wife. Dato’ Mokhtar, a wealthy man in the Kampung took pity in Kiki’s wife and paid for all the necessaries for the family as well as the children’s education expenses. Later, when Kiki return, he promised that he would pay back Dato’ Mokhtar for the expenses incurred. It has been 3 months since his promise to pay but Dato’ Mokhtar has yet to receive the money. When Dato’ Mokhtar asked Kiki for payment, he refused to pay, saying that he not obliged to pay.
