Thomas Jefferson School of Law is fully accredited by the American Bar Association and a member of the Association of American Law Schools. The LL.M. (Master of Law) program is a one-year degree program for candidates who have already earned a J.D. degree. It includes students from around the globe who are interested in the International Tax and Financial Services industry. The program attracts candidates from a variety of backgrounds and career plans: lawyers working in firms, law professors, judges and government officials. The diversity of the students in the LL.M. program contributes to the deep educational experience of all students. Students enjoy the camaraderie of many international students, and a close relationship with the Law School faculty. Course Details To qualify for the Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree or for the Master of Science of Law (J.S.M.) degree, all candidates, whether in the Online or Residential Programs, must satisfactorily complete a course of study consisting of a minimum of 24 credits. In the Online Programs, LL.M. and J.S.M. students must complete all degree requirements in no more than a maximum of 36 credits during their course of study. All requirements must be completed within a maximum period of three years.
