The Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic (LIJC) provides its students with practical training while helping clients secure immigration relief. A new podcast focuses on clinical law student Alejandro Barajas's work with 17-year-old Esmeralda to obtain relief for her in the form of Special Immigrant Juveniles (SIJ) Status.

Duke Ho, a rising third-year day student at Loyola, is spending the summer at the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office. Working with the Gangs and Hate Crimes Unit, he puts his classroom skills to use writing motions and arguing at evidentiary hearings.
