All programs at Colorado State University’s College of Business have earned accreditation by AACSB — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. AACSB provides internationally recognized, specialized accreditation for business and accounting programs at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral level. The AACSB accreditation standards challenge post-secondary educators to pursue excellence and continuous improvement throughout their business programs. AACSB accreditation is known, worldwide, as the longest standing, most recognized form of specialized/professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn, and a distinction held by only 5 percent of business schools in the world. The College of Business at Colorado State University has held AACSB accreditation since 1970. Accreditation standards are revised by AACSB periodically to make sure that they reflect current business and academic thought and content delivery. The COB at CSU went through the reaccreditation process with AACSB in 2011. At that time, the COB was granted reaccreditation and special note was made of the outstanding quality of our Online MBA program in its ability to deliver a truly excellent product to our students. To achieve accreditation, a business school must meet a broad range of quality standards relating to curriculum, faculty credentials, admissions, degree requirements, library, intellectual climate, and financial resources.
