[bad kred-it] n. Financial industry term for a credit history indicating that a person is a high credit risk. A credit score of less than 560 is generally considered to be a bad credit score.
Lenders use your credit reports and your credit scores to make assumptions about your credit risk. The lower your credit score, the more risky they feel it is to lend you money, and the higher interest rates they will charge if they are willing to approve your loan request at all. Having a bad credit score means that lenders will consider you to be a high credit risk.
Even more, there are a number of other entities that will use your credit history to make assumptions about you. Landlords, insurance companies, and potential employers may all consider your credit score. Bad credit could contribute to you being denied an apartment, being charged higher insurance premiums, or even not getting hire

But First The Worst Majors for Law School
I want to state an important warning right up front: IF YOUR SCHOOL HAS A PRE-LAW OR CRIMINAL JUSTICE MAJOR, DON T DO IT. The hard evidence out there is that pre-law and criminal justice majors do worse on the LSAT and have worse outcomes when applying to law school.

#Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law - Yeshiva University - Colleges & Universities - Union Square - New York, NY - Reviews - Photos
Recommended Reviews
I can t give a law school 5 stars because no one should love law school that much.
Ok. That being said:
Great Professors, an amazing offering of classes (especially in intellectual property), great location (2 blocks from Union Square), and absolutely tons of resources for networking, jobs, and events (both social and academic). The faculty is really top notch - extremely knowledgeable, always keeping discussions current and relevant, and still very much involved in the field of law.
For my 150th I felt it appropriate to review the very thing that brought me to New York City. Now, I know most of you could care less about this educational institution of advanced legal studies, and are probably confused as to how this can be reviewed on Yelp at all. I would whole heart

#Best Online Law Schools: JD and LLM Programs
Which are the very best online law schools?
This is hard question because there isn't a clear ranking system -- US News doesn't rank online degree programs -- and actual first-hand information is scarce for online law schools. There isn't much accountability at online law schools.
Let's take a step back.
No juris doctor program at an online law school. at the moment, is going to give you the kind of career you would have if you attended a national top-tier law school like Harvard, or even a regional powerhouse (like University of Alabama if you live in Alabama, for instance).
Indeed, there are not that many online law schools, actually, that permit you to sit any state's bar exam. Basically, if you're you can only take the bar in California. None are, at the moment, ABA-accredited (this is important because if you graduate from a law school with ABA accreditation, you can take the bar exam in any of the 5

The path of a bill, from the time it s an idea to the time it arrives at the Governor s desk for approval, may follow a path with many detours. A bill may be introduced in either the Senate or the House with the exception of revenue bills which must originate in the House. The following is an example of how an idea becomes law.
Steps of How an Idea Becomes Law
This example uses the House of Representative as the Bill s chamber of origin.
- An idea to change, amend or create a new law is presented to a Legislative Member.
- The Member decides to sponsor the bill and introduce it to their respective chamber, and requests that the attorneys in the Legislative Counsel s office draft the bill in t
