#New York Lemon Laws - Lemon Law Attorneys
Page Overview
You can't believe it. The new car you bought makes an atrocious knocking noise when you drive it, and the dealer's mechanic can't seem to find the problem. Do you have to just bite the bullet and buy a lifetime supply of earplugs?
Fortunately, you do have recourse. New York has laws to protect you in case a dealer sells you a "lemon"―a car that is unsafe, inefficient, or riddled with defects.
New York's New Car Lemon Law compels the manufacturer of such a car to make the necessary repairs (usually through the dealer that sold it), refund your money, or replace the vehicle. The law is limited to cars used primarily for personal use and does not cover motorcycles, ATVs, or the living quarters of an RV. A car is covered under the New Car Lemon Law if all of the following apply:
It was covered under a manufacturer's warranty when it was originally delivered to its first buyer. It was bou

CPS recently sent out an email asking for students to rate them on Yelp so I figured, why not?
I enrolled in CPS in January 2013 and am a little over halfway finished with my M.ED in Higher Education Administration. Overall I have been quite pleased with the experience and am pleasantly surprised by how much I have enjoyed the online format of my classes.
PROS: CPS offers six-week, intensive online courses that are great for working professionals. You have to realize before you sign up that these are accelerated classes, so a 3-credit course is going to wind up costing you about 20+ hours a week in homework. However, the classes go by quickly, and the online f

#NOVUS LAW SCHOOL?
Author Topic: NOVUS LAW SCHOOL? (Read 76753 times)
Does anyone know a NOVUS LAW SCHOOL graduate? Has anyone ever taken any of the programs they offer. Is it a real school. I am sure that someone has some information about it??
It was my understanding that it was a sham law school. That thier degree does not allow you to sit for any bars and that the two owners live in Europe. I would not suggest it. Google them online. and you will be able to locate the suits that were filed for the fraud.
I personally know two of the professors that teach at Novus, as the president of the school and they live in California, where I live. I also know (and did Google) that there are no lawsuits filed against them at present, nor have there ever been. I have been an arbitrator and a mediator for over 15 years, and I m not seeking to take a bar, but I do understand and it was explained to me how attorney supervised study works and how you

#Novus University Law School turning out - sham - degrees
MORE ON:
Touro College claims an online-only school is turning out graduates with phony law degrees, according to a lawsuit.
Marshall Islands-based Novus University Law School “engaged in false, deceptive, misleading and unfair practices by representing itself to be a bona fide foreign law school,” Touro claims in Manhattan Supreme Court papers.
Touro — itself once embroiled in a grade-changing scandal — says Novus collected tuition from students but “conferred worthless law degrees,” according to court papers filed last week.
Authorities in Texas and Oregon have already declared law degrees from Novus invalid, and Touro is asking a judge to declare the school a diploma mill.
“Novus graduates often apply and are erroneously accepted to American Bar Association-accredited programs,” Touro charged.

But now, Reuters reports. state lawmakers are finalizing legislation to actually block towns and cities from enacting their own local bans or regulations on drilling activity.
Spurred by the jobs and economic rewards created by drilling, Oklahoma’s politicians have been happy to aid the energy industry in its attempts to silence critics and cover up the connection between seismic activity and the disposal of byproducts from natural gas production. But the mind-blowing 600 percent increase in tremors is becoming more a
