A preacher in South Africa who allegedly ordered his congregation to consume live snakes has been arrested on animal cruelty charges, RDM News Wire reported. Controversy ensued after pictures of the congregation eating snakes were posted on the church's Facebook page last week.

The controversial preacher, referred to as a prophet, is Penuel Mnguni of End Times Disciples Ministries in Soshanguve, north of Pretoria. Mnguni told his congregation the snakes would taste like chocolate. He is to appear in the Ga-Rankuwa Magistrate’s Court Monday to face animal cruelty charges brought by the Society for Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals.

I enrolled in CPS in January 2013 and am a little over halfway finished with my M.ED in Higher Education Administration. Overall I have been quite pleased with the experience and am pleasantly surprised by how much I have enjoyed the online format of my classes.

PROS: CPS offers six-week, intensive online courses that are great for working professionals. You have to realize before you sign up that these are accelerated classes, so a 3-credit course is going to wind up costing you about 20+ hours a week in homework. Does anyone know a NOVUS LAW SCHOOL graduate? Has anyone ever taken any of the programs they offer. Is it a real school. I am sure that someone has some information about it??

It was my understanding that it was a sham law school. That thier degree does not allow you to sit for any bars and that the two owners live in Europe. I would not suggest it. Google them online. and you will be able to locate the suits that were filed for the fraud.

I personally know two of the professors that teach at Novus, as the president of the school and they live in California, where I live. I also know (and did Google) that there are no lawsuits filed against them at present, nor have there ever been. I have been an arbitrator and a mediator for over 15 years, and I m not seeking to take a bar, but I do understand and it was explained to me how attorney supervised study works and how you ... Touro College claims an online-only school is turning out graduates with phony law degrees, according to a lawsuit.

Marshall Islands-based Novus University Law School “engaged in false, deceptive, misleading and unfair practices by representing itself to be a bona fide foreign law school,” Touro claims in Manhattan Supreme Court papers.

Touro — itself once embroiled in a grade-changing scandal — says Novus collected tuition from students but “conferred worthless law degrees,” according to court papers filed last week.

Authorities in Texas and Oregon have already declared law degrees from Novus invalid, and Touro is asking a judge to declare the school a diploma mill.

“Novus graduates often apply and are erroneously accepted to American Bar Association-accredited programs,” Touro charged.
