The CSIs are called to a hotel room where a man and a woman have been shot and killed; the woman's left hand has been cut off. Brass informs them the man is Dennis Graves, a cop from Trenton, New Jersey. and that Frank found the bodies. Keppler denies knowing either Graves or McCarty, despite also being from Trenton.
Brass questions McCarty, who says Graves picked up a prostitute that night. Nick finds long blonde hairs and shoe impressions in the bathroom; neither matches either victim. The CSIs realize a witness may have survived.

#Dual Degree Programs
Main menu
To meet the challenges of practice in the 21st century, more lawyers find it imperative to more fully understand the interrelation of law and other disciplines. To prepare students for these emerging opportunities, the Law School has developed five dual-degree programs that combine a superior legal education with graduate professional training in related fields. These programs allow qualified students to earn the J.D. and another degree more quickly than pursuing both degrees independently.
In all cases, students must gain admission separately to each school. Admission to one program does not guarantee admission to the other. After gaining admission to each school, students may apply to the dual-degree program.
The Law School offers the dual-degree programs in conjunction with certain University of Connecticut graduate schools. Students are encouraged to review the content in this section and to contact their Student Servic

A dog bite lawyer is the most qualified person to handle your basic needs after a dog bite, without creating unnecessary hard feelings. All parties will recognize that handling these claims is best left to a qualified dog bite lawyer who knows the legal issues at stake.
It is important for victims who will have long-term injuries to be well-represented in court. A dog bite victim who has been disfigured, possibly permanently, is especially in need of a dog bite attorney to handle his or her substantial claim of loss of earning potential and medical costs.
A dog bite attorney can obtain and analyze reliable medical evidence, including reports, patient forms and billings. Negotiating the true cost of a dog bite to the victim will also often involve health insurance companies as well.
An experienced dog bite attorney is the best person to handle these claims in Pennsylvania instead of an injured dog bite victim who is in recovery. An expert dog bite lawyer knows

#Dog Bite Laws and Statutes of Limitations in the United States
If you've been attacked and injured by a dangerous dog, it's in your best interest to contact a lawyer as soon as possible. When you get a lawyer quickly, more evidence may be gathered to prove your case and the dangerous dog can be stopped before it has the chance to hurt anyone else.
Preliminary Note:
Every state has different laws regarding a dog owner's liability for dog bites. Some states follow their common law. Other states have enacted statutory law in the form of Dog Bite Statutes. Most often, a Dog Bite Statute abolishes the common law, because, unlike the common law, these statutes don't require a dog bite victim to prove that a dog owner was at fault for an injury. In some states, however, people who have been injured by a dog are able to recover money damages under both the common law and their state's Dog Bite Statute. The following guide outlines state dog bite laws.

This article is the first in a two-part series intended to defuse the confusion. It explains what the Stark statute is, how it differs from the anti-kickback statute and how you can determine whether it applies to you. #Don Lemon Blasts Indiana s Discriminatory Religious Freedom Law In Powerful Speech
Jackson Connor HuffPost Media fellow
One minute was all it took for CNN's Don Lemon to pick apart Indiana's controversial religious freedom law Monday night.
Much of the country has found itself wrapped in heated debate after Gov. Mike Pence signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act into law last Thursday. Critics claim the law enables businesses to discriminate against members of the LGBT community, while Pence has maintained that the legislation is "about affording citizens full protection under Indiana law."
Lemon wasn't buying Pence's defense, though, calling it "disingenuous" to pretend that the legislation doesn't enable bigotry.
"Let's be honest, to say that this law is not discriminatory is disingenuous at the very least," Lemon said. "The law doesn't protect religious freedom, it allows someone the ability to impose their religious views onto someone else.

September, 2004; Last Reviewed Jan.
Due to the high cost of legal assistance, unless people are lucky enough to have insurance, there is a strong incentive to try to find cheap or free legal advice. Many people turn to online sources, such as legal websites, to try to obtain free legal counsel.
Some websites conflate legal advice and legal information , as if they are the same thing. They are not. There is a great deal of legal information available online, from a wide range of sources. Many of those sources are highly reliable, and offer analyses prepared by lawyers or government employees to assist people with a very broad range of legal problems.
But a document or FAQ on a legal subject, meant to provide a broad base of information to the public at large, is not legal advice . Legal advice is legal counsel tailored to an individual's specific situation and legal needs. For example, reading an informational document about your state's divorce procedure m

#Education law
Education law: An Overview
One government function is education, which is administered through the public school system by the Department of Education. The states, however, have primary responsibility for the maintenance and operation of public schools. The Federal Government also has an interest in education. The National Institute of Education was created to improve education in the United States.
Each state is required by its state constitution to provide a school system whereby children may receive an education. State legislatures exercise power over schools in any manner consistent with the state's constitution. Many state legislatures delegate power over the school system to a state board of education.
There is a strong concern with equality in education. Within states this leads to efforts to assure that each child no matter where he or she is situated receives an adequate education. The Equal Education Opportunities Act of 1974 provi

Rankings are a comparison of business schools that is organized by journalists. Accreditation is a process of quality assessment that is conducted by peers under the supervision of professional associations. Rankings will only tell you which business schools a magazine or newspaper thinks is number 1, number 2, number 3, etc. but accreditation will tell you that a business school meets specific international standards. The Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Oleksandr Lavrynovych, recently stated that Ukraine s legislation regulates most of the issues in the sphere of-anti-discrimination. However, the framework will soon be supplemented in order to extend the scope of the principle of equal treatment between persons.

#EEOC: federal law already bans sexual-orientation bias
EEOC: federal law already bans sexual-orientation bias
After a period of foreshadowing and rumor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has now gone ahead and ruled that employment discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation is forbidden under existing federal civil rights law, specifically the current ban on sex discrimination.
