#Man killed in crash to be awarded honorary bachelor s degree from UNO: OMAHA METRO RollersonPosted: Thursday, July 16, 2015 4:13 pm | Updated: 11:12 am, Fri Jul 17, 2015. A 24-year-old Omaha man who was killed last week in a rollover accident will be awarded an honorary Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Antwaun Rollerson was on track to graduate in December from UNO before the July 10 crash at the intersection of 42nd Street and Sorensen Parkway. A UNO spokesman said the school is working to set up a private ceremony for Rollerson’s family. Omaha police said speed was a factor in the accident that killed Rollerson and that Rollerson had not been using a seat belt. Police stopped short of saying whether the seat belt would have saved his life. His 16-year-old brother, Jarrell Walker, was using a seat belt and walked away uninjured. A member of multiple organizations at UNO, including the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, Rollerson worked as a mentor at McMillan Magnet Center and was on the teen staff at a YMCA. The brothers had spent time at McMillan and were on their way to meet up with friends when the car hit a curb and upended.
