The school boasts a wide-ranging portfolio of degree paths including: Two-Year MBA in Ithaca; One-Year MBA in Ithaca; the new One-Year MBA at Cornell NYC Tech; Cornell Executive MBA in Metro NYC; and the Cornell-Queen’s Executive MBA. The two-year MBA program spans 21 months and kicks off in August with a two-week orientation. The first-year core curriculum provides the building blocks of management education, integrating knowledge in the various management disciplines with hands-on practice in applying it. During the second year, students can choose courses not only from the MBA roster but also from some 4,000 selections offered across the university. Johnson also offers optional breadth and depth concentrations to improve students marketability. Breadth concentrations include: consulting, entrepreneurship, and global business management, among others. Depth concentrations include corporate finance, financial analysis, and private equity, to name a few. About 12% of the student body chooses to enroll in a dual-degree program, such as Cornell s MBA/JD or MBA/MD. Johnson is also among the few elite schools offering a one-year MBA program. This academically rigorous experience is designed for those with a degree in science or technology, plus three to five years of relevant experience; students benefit from the program s location on the Cornell Tech campus in New York City.
