The Moreno Family Law Firm is one of the best family law firms in the South Bay.  Ms Marilyn Moreno is a highly experienced and knowledgeable attorney who has been practicing family law for more than 30 years.  She is very tenacious, aggressive, and able to focus on what s important in all aspects of complex divorce cases.  She is successful in fighting against even the most difficult of opponents including narcissistic people and persons with criminal backgrounds.  She is a strong advocate of her clients, and is very personable and reassuring as she fully understands the emotional toll that a divorce can have on person s life.

I first approached her law firm after discovering my then-wife was having an affair with her boss and was planning to file for divorce.  I was at the time quite naive, emotionally weak, and unsuspecting of any diabolical plans conjured by my now ex-wife.   My ex-wife made claims that she owned all the property and real estate assets, and wanted me to vacate the community residence that we lived in together with our 2 young children.  When I refused to leave without a temporary parenting plan in place, she immediately filed for a false domestic violence restraining order.  She fraudulently lied stating that I threatened her life with a gun amongst many many other untrue accusations.  The court judge ordered a temporary restraining order against me, and ordered me to have only supervised visits with my own children.  I had also discovered facts that my ex-wife had already collaborated details with her lover to arrange for child parenting schedules wherein I would have less than 50% timeshare with my children.

I was now looking at the high possibility of facing a bleak financial future with no assets, loss of equal timeshare with my children as well as me paying a significant monetary amount of child support and alimony payments to my ex-wife.  The burden of proof was on me.  I knew I was  also facing an uphill battle given the current unfair legal environment that is biased against male counterparts.  Women tend to have an upper hand due to many outdated societal norms and stigmata s of roles that women and men have in society.

Ms Moreno worked hard in my case to uncover the truths and to find the facts.  Through discovery and depositions, she was able to track a complex financial trail that revealed the community assets were being hidden by my ex-wife.  Several acts of fraud and perjury were being committed by my ex-wife.  Facts were also uncovered demonstrating that all of the false allegations in the DV-TRO were in fact not true.  Evidence was collected that would show that my ex-wife purposefully lied in order to gain an unfair advantage.

In the end, I was awarded my fair share of financial assets, restored unsupervised timeshare with my children and eliminated all future alimony payments to my ex-wife.  I likely would have been awarded even more if I had gone to a full trial, but I chose to settle before trial in order to move on with my life quickly.

Just when I thought things were done, I had learned that my 2 young helpless children were being emotionally harassed when they were spending time with their mother.  Ms Moreno was able to successfully win this aspect of my case too.  I now have full physical custody of my children.   Just think about it - a father being awarded full physical custody of the children in an environment of favoritism towards mothers!

I am extremely fortunate to have had Ms Moreno on my side.  I cannot imagine what could have become of my life without her help.  I am thankful and grateful to her for giving me my life back.  I WOULD RECOMMEND HER WITH THE HIGHEST OF REGARD.
