#Law student tells of horror attack outside nightclub which left her with missing front teeth - Mirror Online WARNING: GRAPHIC PICTURE OF INJURY Jasmine Moore's attacker Summer Richardson was slammed in court this week who described her attitude to the offence as "nothing short of appalling"All smiles now: But Jasmine Moore still needs more treatment A young law student had her front teeth punched out during a sickening attack at a nightclub. Jasmine Moore, 21, was rushed to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow for emergency surgery after the brutal assault outside The Venue in Dumfries. And her attacker, Summer Richardson was this week slammed by a sheriff who described her attitude to the offence as “nothing short of appalling”. Richardson, 21, admitted punching Jasmine repeatedly on the head and knocking her to the ground to her severe injury last July. It took Jasmine months to recover physically from the beating but the mental scars still remain, reports the Sunday Mail . She said: “My self-confidence has been crushed and I’m now very self-conscious. I’m still frightened. “I had struck up a friendship with her ex-boyfriend and she had a grudge against me because of it. Savage: Jasmine Moore suffered terrible injuries in the attack outside a nightclub in Dumfries “When I was leaving the club that night I was on my own and she just pounced. “I was punched repeatedly and blacked out. I woke up in the back room of the club and the security staff told me not to touch my face. “I was taken by ambulance to Dumfries Infirmary for X-rays and then transferred to the Southern General.” Jasmine’s two front teeth had been knocked out, her face had swollen “like a balloon” and she had cuts, bruises and a black eye. “Surgeons had to move the bone in my mouth and I’ve had ongoing treatment since the attack,” she added. “I need another operation to take a bone graft from my hip to my mouth.” Richardson was due to be sentenced last week for the attack but the case was deferred after she ignored the court date to take a holiday in Croatia. Hurt: Jasmine Moore shows her injuries Sheriff George Jamieson said that decision was “outrageous and deplorable”. On Wednesday he banned Richardson from leaving Scotland for the next two years and ordered her to stay out of nightclubs and remain in her house at weekends between 7pm and 7am for the next 12 months. He also placed her under supervision for two years, ordered her to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and pay Jasmine £1,000 in compensation. Jasmine said: “I had hoped she’d be jailed but hopefully she’ll know what it feels like to have her life disrupted for two years. “The whole thing has been just devastating.”
