#Daytime MBA Concentrations - Duke s Fuqua School of Business

The Duke MBA—Daytime offers specialized concentrations in all of the major functional areas (such as decision sciences, finance, management, marketing, operations, and strategic consulting) and in topical areas (such as entrepreneurship, energy and the environment, social entrepreneurship and leadership).

Each concentration identifies a set of electives from which you choose 6 courses. Most concentrations have a common "4-2" structure, where the concentration typically has four courses in a focal area (like finance) and 2 courses from other areas that support the focal concentration.

Registration: First-year Daytime students who plan to pursue a concentration must make their selection on the Fuqua World website during Fall 2 or the Spring Term.

Acknowledgement: Upon graduation, your completed concentration will be indicated on your official transcript.
