The Universal Laws You must Know To Manifest

UNIVERSAL LAWS

Is it possible we have to change everything in order to have real happiness and infinite abundance? We have to turn everything around and up side down.

As children we learn to look to the outside world and others to tell us how we feel and are doing. An example is how we are taught to look at  grades received in school. On getting a low grade we are taught we are not doing well. Many people have beliefs about grades that they carry through life deciding if they are smart or not. Really all a grade means is that on that day, and that hour you were tested you were not at your best. An A grade shows and means nothing about you. The universal law is that we all have limitless Potential inside of us. It cannot be wrong, or only a few people have it. It is not limited to A grades. It is within all of us and the only question is are we expressing it?

We are taught that everything is limited and to c ... Read more »

The term Sharia (a.k.a. Shari'a) literally means the path to a watering hole . The Guardian newspaper in the UK describes Sharia as: . a religious code for living, in the same way that the Bible offers a moral system for Christians. 1 It is used to refer both to the Islamic system of law and the totality of the Islamic way of life. Sharia is derived both from:

From Sunna, which is referred to as Islamic Custom or practice; particularly that associated with the exemplary life of the Prophet Muhammad, comprising his deeds and utterances as recorded in the hadith . The hadith literally means report or narrative 2

Purchase, NY

College, Why?

I go to SUNY Purchase for the arts program. During high school I got really into painting and it was a passion that carried me into my college years.

Major, Why?

Art History. I went to Paris on a teen tour when I was 14 and ever since then I knew I wanted to work in a gallery someday as a collections curator or director.

Mamadi Matlhako for American Culture. She has a great personality and just took really complicated material and made it so simple.

Since I was 13 years old, I knew UC Santa Barbara was the college for me. My family and I made a trip over to Santa Barbara for the weekend, where we met up with a family friend who was currently attending UCSB for her undergrad. As we walked through the beautiful campus, serene coastline on my right and beautiful mountains on my left, I was in awe. The fact that this amazing stretch of beach could also provide one of the best educations in the country made ... Read more »

Most people depend on their car to go to work, school, the grocery store, and just about anywhere else they have to be.  Therefore, the prospect of having a car taken away (repossessed) is usually a scary one since most people would be stranded without it.  But if you fall behind on your car payments, this is exactly what might happen if you are not careful. This is called car or vehicle repossession.

Read on to learn how repossessions work, how to get your car back, and what you can do to avoid them.

Each state has its own set of laws and rules that govern repossession; however the rules are similar no matter where you live.  Once you finance or lease a car, your car lender has certain rights and remedies that come with the contract you sign.  One remedy allows the lender to repossess your car if you default under the terms of your agreement.  Your contract will specify what exactly constitutes a default but  common examples include  failing to make your payments or ... Advice for Getting Into Law School

Admission to law school is very competitive. Consider Arizona State Law School. I offer this hypothetical as an example of what happens at law schools generally. What I'm going to say here about Arizona State could be said about every law school in the country.

Arizona State is a good school, ranked 53rd in the nation (out of 187 law schools). Each year, Arizona State has an entering class of about 500 law students. For those 500 seats in its first-year law class, Arizona State receives over 7,000 applications. About 1,400 (20%) of the 7,000 applicants will be admitted, since some people will be accepted at many law schools and will turn down Arizona State's offer of admission.

Now, imagine that I'm a member of the Admissions Committee at Arizona State Law School. My job on the Admissions Committee is to accept only those applicants about whom I can make a reasonable prediction of satisfactory performance in law school. But ... Read more »

Workers compensation laws first made an appearance in the United States in the early 1900s in response to concerns that employees injured at work were not being treated fairly — workers had little bargaining power and seldom prevailed in court against employers, which generally had the law on their side. Indeed, an estimated 70 to 94 percent of all industrial accidents went uncompensated before workers’ compensation laws reached the United States.

Legislators responded with the workers’ compensation framework — which was essentially a compromise between management and labor. Employers agreed to pay for any work-related injury or illness, without any finding that the employer was actually at fault for the injury or illness; in return, employees agreed to limits on the amount of compensation they would receive as part of a workers’ comp award (which, in some cases, meant giving up potentially large damage awards).

#UPDATE 1-Obama: No reason for Supreme Court to overturn healthcare law

(Adds quotes and context throughout)

KRUEN, Germany, June 8 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama said on Monday that he was confident the Supreme Court would not rule against his healthcare law, describing it as an "easy case" that should never have been taken up by the court.

The Supreme Court is expected to rule this month on King v. Burwell, a challenge aimed at subsidies for premiums for 6.4 million low- and middle-income Americans in 34 states under the 2010 Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

"Under well-established precedent, there is no reason why the existing (healthcare) exchanges should be overturned through a court case," Obama said.

Featured Business Schools

As the birthplace of the MBA, North America has always been the dominant player in MBA education. With hundreds of the world's best business schools at institutions in every state and major city, it is still a growing hub for MBA hopefuls.

But it is the leading US business schools that dominate the market. These schools have long-established networks of alumni, people who believe in their school's core values and will use the network to mutual benefit. The schools benefit from this too as they are able to return to their alumni for years after they leave the school to ask for financial contributions, though the recent economic downturn has seen a dent in this.

Since QS began its annual research into the opinions of MBA applicants, the USA has always been the number one destination for MBA candidates, with around 80% of candidates considering studying there.

When couples in Indiana decide their marriage is over, they will likely decide to turn to the court system to file for a divorce. There are several considerations that must be factored into the decision. The grounds for the divorce, the waiting period, property division, alimony, child custody, and child support must all be considered.

In Indiana, a person petitioning the court for a divorce can file for a fault divorce or a no-fault divorce. A fault divorce means that one person did something that ended the marriage. The grounds for a fault divorce include incurable insanity, impotence, or a felony conviction during the marriage. In the case of the incurable insanity cause, the condition must last at least two years.

If the marriage is simply over but nobody is at fault, the solution might be a no-fault divorce. This means that there isn t any need to produce evidence about a situation that broke the marriage. This is called an irretrievable breakdown of the marriag ... Read more »

Family law is a comprehensive body of law that deals with family relationships. It stipulates the rights and obligations of parties in domestic relations. Family law covers a wide range of topics, including marriage, divorce, child custody, visitation, alimony, and adoption.

Marriage, civil union, and domestic partnership are different kinds of legal statuses recognized by family law. Marriage is a legal relationship between two persons, in which the parties, the husband and the wife, are bound by the rights and obligations stipulated in the marital contract. A civil union is a legal relationship between a same sex couple. Civil unions are also known as civil partnerships. The rights and obligations in a civil union are similar to those in a marriage. In a domestic partnership, partners live together and have a common domestic life, but without being bonded by marriage or a civil union.

#Using the road (159 to 203).

The following list can be found abbreviated throughout the Code. It is not intended to be a comprehensive guide, but a guide to some of the important points of law. For the precise wording of the law, please refer to the various Acts and Regulations (as amended) indicated in the Code. Abbreviations are listed below.

Most of the provisions apply on all roads throughout Great Britain, although there are some exceptions. The definition of a road in England and Wales is ‘any highway and any other road to which the public has access and includes bridges over which a road passes’ (RTA 1988 sect 192(1)). In Scotland, there is a similar definition which is extended to include any way over which the public have a right of passage (R(S)A 1984 sect 151(1)).

It is important to note that references to ‘road’ therefore generally include footpaths, bridleways and cycle tracks, and many roadways and driveways on private land (including many car parks). ... Read more »

Law is a big service-based business. This article gives a brief overview of the top law firms based on recent revenue numbers available at the time of writing this article. While there are other criteria to rank law firms (such as revenue per partner/lawyer, number of lawyers, or year-on-year percent growth), annual revenue remains the most accurate, consistent, and easy to follow:

A 1031 Real Estate Exchange

Any real estate property owner or investor should consider a 1031 exchange when acquiring a replacement like kind property subsequent to the sale of his existing investment property. The basics behind a 1031 exchange is the strategy and method for selling one property, and then buying another property within a specific time frame in order to defer the payment of a capital gains tax (which is currently 15%). The entire transaction is treated as an exchange and not just as a simple sale.

There are two requirements in a 1031 like-kind exchange:

  1. The total purchase price of the replacement like-kind property must be equal to, or greater than the total net sales price of the relinquished real estate property.
  2. All the equity received from the sale of the relinquished property must be used to acquire the replacement like kind property.

If the price of the replacement property is less than t ... Read more »

When a person dies, two important matters?are payment of the decedent s ?outstanding debts and transfer of his property to those entitled to it. Probate ?is the court proceeding for settling someone s final affairs.

Probate proceedings are strictly a matter of state law. The legal rules and procedures vary a lot from state to state. Except where the state has simplified rules for small or uncomplicated cases, expert advice is needed.

A typical probate case begins with the filing of the decedent s?will in the probate court. This is usually a special division of the local court that handles probate and related matters. In some states, like New York, the probate court may be called surrogate s court. The case must be filed in the county where the decedent resided at the time of death.

Anyone may file the will. Usually this is done by the person appointed by the decedent to carry out his last wishes. This person is called the executor in most states, and is somet ... Read more »

#UVM, Vermont Law School In Closed-Door Talks Over Future

At a meeting of the Royalton selectboard earlier this month, a resident approached the body to ask about a rumor circulating around town. Word had it, the resident said, that UVM was going to buy up Vermont Law School and move operations to Burlington.

Ever since the UVM Board of Trustees convened an ad hoc work group in January to explore the university’s relationship with VLS, questions have surfaced about what exactly the schools are up to. Asked about prospects for a merger, the heads of the institutions earlier this week issued a joint statement. It said the schools were quote “exploring programmatic and academic opportunities between the institutions.”

"If it came out that, you know, the law school was going to move out of the town of Royalton and go to UVM, you know that might hit hard. But I don't think that that is going to happen." - Larry Trottier, chairman, Royalton select board

There is a practice called Physician self-referral. This is when a physician refers a patient to a medical facility, which he has part ownership, financial interests or investment in. It is thought to be a conflict of interest that a physician will stand to benefit from referring patients to his medical facility for health services. This self-referral practice has a potential to be abused because the physician may over-refer patients for services that may or may not be necessary. That is why; the law was developed to prevent such self-referral practices.

The Stark Law was passed by the federal government to prevent physician self referral and does not allow a physician to refer Medicare or Medicaid patients to facilities that are owned by the physician or a member of the physician s immediate family, unless it is under exception.

#Follow These Steps Before Borrowing for Law School - US News

Law students shouldn’t count on loan forgiveness, but should research future salaries before borrowing.

Dane Rennier turned down several federal student loans during his law school tenure at the University of Missouri—Columbia. He wasn't going to stress himself out about borrowing what was needed to complete his education, but he also didn't want to go into any unneeded debt.

He worked as much as he could to reduce the amount he needed to take out in student loans. He also always kept in mind starting salaries for a criminal prosecution attorney and his future monthly payments.

Rennier borrowed less than $60,000 during his time at the public law school – less than the typical law student. According to data from the American Bar Association cited in Getting a Grip on Your Student Debt by Heather Jarvis, a student loan expert and licensed attorney, public law school students borrow an average of $ ... Stanford’s Graduate School of Business has leapfrogged the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and Columbia Business School to become the most expensive two-year MBA program in the world, according to an analysis by Poets Quants. This year Stanford is telling applicants that the estimated cost of its two-year, full-time MBA program is a whopping $185,054, a new record.

That is some $18,242 more than Stanford said it would cost an MBA student only two years ago when Columbia was the school with the most expensive MBA program in the world. At that time, Columbia estimated that the cost to attend its MBA program was $168,307, while third-place Stanford’s price tag was $166,812. In just two years, Stanford’s estimated cost of the degree has risen by 10.9%, though the estimate includes a $4,000 global study trip.

Though distance learning programs were once viewed with skepticism by professionals and educators, recent developments in communications technology have made it possible for top-tier institutions of higher learning to offer online programs. Child Support Amounts

The amount of child support is based on guidelines defined in Florida law. Child support guidelines are standards used to figure out the support needed for a child and the amount a parent has to pay. Guidelines help make sure support amounts are fair. Every state has guidelines, but they may be different in each state.

These guidelines are used the first time child support is ordered and every time the child support amount changes. They are also used to review the order to see if the support amount should be changed.

    Child support guidelines consider:

    • The income of both parents
    • The child's health care and child care costs
    • The standard needs for the child. A l ... Read more »
