#Intensive Law & Trial Experience Intensive Law Trial%img src="/ Intensive Law Trial, in collaboration with Stanford Law School, provides high-achieving high school students with an exciting and interactive experience exploring the field of law, as well as being introduced to the many law careers available. For 10 days at the Intensive Law Trial program, you will meet and work with your peers from high schools all across the country, take part in skills workshops and simulations, and take on important roles in our simulated courtroom. You will prepare for a court case, just as any attorney does, by practicing effective strategies in the art of the opening statement, by directly examining and cross examining a witness, through gaining an understanding of evidence and its integrity, and by managing the courtroom and crafting a compelling closing argument. Through powerful skills workshops, you will also develop your own personal mission statement to set and attain your future academic and career goals. The Intensive Law and Trial program curriculum is endorsed by the American Mock Trial Association and is recognized as an approved program by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP).
