Oregon's non-medical exemption law also mandates education and state and/or vaccine provider approval of parents exercising their human and informed consent right to exempt their child(ren) from one or more state required vaccines. Individuals utilizing Oregon's non-medical exemption are not required to give a reason (religious or philosophical) for taking the exemption, i.e. declaritive non-medical exemption statements are optional.
