#Stanford Arts Initiative - Stanford Law co-present ‘Scalia

On May 13, 2015, the Stanford Arts Institute and Stanford Law School co-present Scalia/Ginsburg: Excerpts Panel Discussion . an interdisciplinary event featuring composer-librettist Derrick Wang, guest artists, and distinguished faculty from Stanford University. This event will take place at Dinkelspiel Auditorium from 6:30pm-8pm PDT and is free and open to the public.

Composer-librettist Derrick Wang will introduce a program of excerpts from his new opera Scalia/Ginsburg . sung by soprano Suzanne Karpov and tenor Peter Scott Drackley, followed by a panel discussion featuring:

• Paul Brest, moderator. Professor of Law, Emeritus and Former Dean, Stanford Law School
• Heather Hadlock. Associate Professor of Musicology and Director of the Program in Feminist Studies, Stanford University
• Bernadette Meyler. Professor of Law and Deane F. Johnson Faculty Scholar, Stanford Law School
• Matthew Tiews. Associate Dean for the Advancement of the Arts, School of Humanities Sciences
